Know what to expect.
Can solar help power an EV?
Yes. Rooftop solar can supply electricity for charging or offset some charging costs. How much it helps depends on when you charge, system production, your utility plan and installation costs.
What if I mostly charge at night?
We include that in the review. Your charging schedule and utility rates matter. Storage may be an option, but it is not automatically required or cost-effective for every household.
I already have solar. Do I need more panels?
Not necessarily. We review existing production and the added EV load first. Changes to charging times, a system issue, extra generation or storage may each be relevant. Any expansion needs a utility-program and ownership check.
Do I need to own an EV already?
No. We can also review a planned EV purchase. A model and estimated weekly mileage help us create a more useful preliminary estimate.
Does this include a charger or electrical inspection?
The free offer covers a preliminary energy and upgrade evaluation. Charger installation, electrical work, inspection and equipment are separate services and require their own scope and pricing.
