YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Updated October 21, 2026

Leverage Our Sun uses the information you share to respond to your home-energy request, work with you on a potential project, and run our customer relationship management (CRM) system. This policy explains those uses, including our use of Twilio for text-message delivery.

Information we collect

When you submit our website form or speak with our team, we may collect your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, city, utility, energy interests, solar status, home or project details, and information you choose to provide. The website also records the page that brought you to the form, a referring website domain when available, and campaign tags in the page URL. We count page visits, form starts, and campaign visits with a browser-session identifier, and may record an approximate city and state supplied by our hosting network. We do not save visitor IP addresses in our analytics records. We may keep appointment, communication, proposal, and project records in our CRM.

How we use it

We use this information to answer your inquiry, understand your home-energy goals, arrange follow-up, prepare and manage proposals or projects, assign the right team member, and maintain records of our interactions. A new website inquiry may generate an internal text alert to the business owner through Twilio. That alert may include your name, phone number, city, and area of interest so our team can respond promptly.

Calls and text messages

Submitting a request allows our team to respond to your inquiry by phone. SMS is a separate, optional choice: only by checking the unchecked SMS consent box do you agree to text messages from Leverage Our Sun LLC about your inquiry, appointments, document requests, and solar or battery project updates. You can submit the form and request services without opting in to texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

We record your SMS choice, disclosure version, submission time, and form location in our CRM. This opt-in does not subscribe you to promotional texts. See our SMS Terms. Internal team alerts are separate from messages to homeowners. Text delivery depends on service activation and registration.

When information is shared

Authorized Leverage Our Sun team members can access records needed for their work. We use service providers for website hosting, CRM operations, and messaging, including Twilio when text delivery is enabled. They process information to provide those services. If you move forward with a project, we may share relevant details with the installer, finance or program provider, and other project partners needed to review or fulfill your request. We do not sell your personal information.

Mobile information and text-message opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share your SMS consent with another business so it can market to you.

Campaigns and optional ad measurement

Free-evaluation requests may include your installer name and support status, monitoring status, system ownership, utility-bill range, EV details, mileage and charging preferences. We use these to prepare your requested review. Campaign tags and a TikTok click identifier, when present in the link, may be stored with the request so we can identify its source.

Where TikTok ad measurement is enabled on an evaluation page, we ask before loading it and honor the browser’s Global Privacy Control signal. If you allow it, TikTok may receive page visits, successful request events and standard browser/network information. Our event payloads do not include your form answers, utility bills, phone number or email, and we do not intentionally enable advanced matching. You can change your choice using “Ad measurement” in that page’s footer. Declining does not prevent you from requesting a review.

Optional ChatGPT ad measurement

On our solar-check and solar-savings pages, you can choose whether to allow OpenAI ad measurement. If allowed, OpenAI receives page-view and successful call-request events and standard browser/network information. Its Pixel can use a click identifier and first-party cookies to connect a request to an ad. Automatic advanced matching may detect contact information entered on the page, normalize it, and send secure hashes rather than raw contact information. We do not include your bill, address or form answers in our event payloads. We set the event personalization opt-out. Declining does not prevent a call request. Change your choice with “ChatGPT ad measurement” in the footer. We honor Global Privacy Control by not loading this Pixel.

Storage and choices

We retain inquiry and project records for as long as reasonably needed for customer service, business operations, and applicable obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or transmission is completely secure. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you shared, contact the Leverage Our Sun representative you have been working with, or send a new request through our website and tell our team it concerns privacy when we respond. You may also ask us to stop contacting you.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.

Website visit sources

We keep a temporary visit identifier in your browser tab and may save the referring website, pages visited before submitting, campaign labels and platform click identifiers with your inquiry. This helps us understand how people find our services. We save the referring website’s domain, not its full URL. Some browsers or shared links do not provide a source, so it may be unknown. These details do not change your contact preferences.
